Gretchen D. Driskell

MI-7 (D)
Current office holder: Tim Walberg (R)
Gretchen believes it’s time for everyone in Michigan to have a chance to succeed, not just those with money and power, and that it’s time to fix our broken system in Washington, stop the outsourcing of American jobs and rebuild the American Dream. She is running because she believes it's time that the 7th District had a voice in Washington that fights for working families and small businesses.
How does Gretchen align with Project 100's values?
  • Economic Opportunity: Gretchen supports funding for public schools, from early childhood education through secondary school as well as the re-introduction of shop classes, vocational training, and basic business education to high schools. She believes in making higher education more affordable, so that every Michigan student who wants to pursue a higher degree is able to do so.
  • Equal Treatment Under the Law: This candidate's stance on this issue area is unknown.
  • Healthy People & Communities: Gretchen is dedicated to lowering the cost of health care for all Americans and protecting Social Security and Medicare.
